Awards Committee Resources

Welcome to the 2O24-2O25 Awards Committee Info Hub!

This page will provide the resources you need to have a successful Awards Program by providing links to all resources, forms, and instructions in one place.

The statewide Awards Nomination Committee is comprised of representatives from each region (Awards Chair). The Awards Nomination Committee members will solicit nominations from their respective Regions for each of the five Leadership Florida awards with the goal of securing at least one nomination for each award from each Region. After the awards nomination deadline (February 7, 2025 at noon EST), the Awards Selection Committee will review, rate, and then meet to make final recommendations for winners in each of the award categories for the Board of Directors to review and confirm. The Awards Selection Committee is chosen by the Board Chair in consultation with the statewide awards chair. Once the decision for the awards has been confirmed by the Board, the Region Awards Nomination Committee Chairs can assist award nominators with preparing the award finalist videos for the Annual Meeting. The Award winners will be kept confidential until they are revealed at the Annual Meeting.

Conflict of Interest - As a member of the 2025 Leadership Florida Awards Committee, I certify that if I am employed by, serve on the board of, or have other oversight responsibilities for any entity nominated for a 2025 Award, I will recuse myself from all discussion, debate, scoring, and voting for that particular Award category or categories if more than one applies. This recusal requirement also applies to nominations of other close relationships such as business partners, client relationships, and family members. Leadership Florida staff and the Awards Committee Chair will make the final determination as to what is considered a conflict of interest for any committee member.
