Biography
Dan is a certified land use planner, circuit civil mediator, and lobbyist with more than 22 years of experience in urban planning and environmental policy. He currently serves as a water policy consultant and lobbyist for local governments and a land use planner for developers and agricultural companies throughout South Florida.

Dan has taught as an adjunct faculty member in urban planning at Florida Gulf Coast University and Nova Southeastern University and has been an invited presenter on land use, development, and water policy issues at numerous conferences throughout the United States.

Dan received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University and a master’s in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Dan is an avid beer brewer, scuba diver, and occasional half-marathon runner. In 2019 he won two separate awards for brewing. He enjoys hosting events for friends and colleagues in his National Historic Registry home that he shares with his wife of 25 years, two children (when they are home on vacation), and eight-year-old dog.
