Angie Santibanez received an Athena Leadership Award from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches in the Young Professional category. Additionally, Gehring Group won the award for the Organizational Leadership category; Danielle Shull (Connect Class 9, Gulfstream Region, Lifetime Member) accepted the award on their behalf.

Karen Moore, CEO and founder of the Moore Agency, was honored with the 2024 National PR News People of the Year Award as Mentor of the Year in New York City this week. This national recognition is awarded to extraordinary leaders who guide and motivate those around them and have impacted the careers of their colleagues and others.

Cindy Roe Littlejohn received four awards for her book, “Palmetto Pioneers: The Emigrants”—two gold medals for history and biography and a silver for cover design from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association, plus an IPPY bronze medal for nonfiction in the Southeastern U.S. from the Independent Publishers Awards.
Her first book in the series, "Palmetto Pioneers" is a narrative historical nonfiction book covering territorial Florida from 1829 to statehood in 1845. Her second book in the series was released last spring and covers the period through 1861, one year into the Civil War.
