Connie Smith- Professional Recognition

Congratulations to Connie Smith #CornerstoneClass33, who retired after 25 years with Wells Fargo! Throughout her career with Wells Fargo and legacy institutions First Union and Wachovia, her focus was on building the capacity of nonprofits to serve their clients. For many years, she was responsible for the bank's corporate philanthropy in Florida. In 2015, she took on leadership of grant programs focused on Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) to increase their lending and services to diverse small businesses across the U.S. These programs provided $425 million to CDFIs nationally, including some serving small business owners in Florida.
