Biography
Leah's career in health care spans over 33 years with a track record of providing safe, high-quality care and service excellence. She's been with the Memorial Healthcare System for 18 years, her most recent appointment in 2016 as CEO of Memorial Hospital West. Leah works tirelessly to give back to the community professionally and personally through numerous organizations. As Board Chair for the Miramar/Pembroke Pines Chamber, Chair of the Broward County March for Babies Walk, Board Member of the American Diabetes Assoc. and Board Chair for the YMCA of Pembroke Pines, she has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for college scholarships, drowning prevention, back-to-school support in poverty-stricken areas, to finding a cure for diabetes and preventing prematurity. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Leah currently resides in Miramar, FL where she lives with her 17-year-old son DJ. She enjoys the theatre, dancing, reading, traveling, exercising and spending quality time with her family.
