Biography

Janna Lhota is a partner at the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP in its Fort Lauderdale office practicing the area of land use, planning, and zoning, with an emphasis in telecommunications. Over her 28 year career with Holland & Knight, she has been actively involved with numerous community organizations impacting education and the hospitality industry. She is currently the Secretary and Board Member of the Broward Chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and the Chair-elect of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and active in the Downtown Council. Previously she served on the Boards of the Broward Education Foundation and Partners in Education impacting Broward County Public Schools. Janna has been married for 29 years to David Lhota. Janna's two greatest accomplishments are her two children, a daughter Connor, 27, who graduated from Johns Hopkins University and is presently working for KPMP and a son Luke, 25, who graduated from the United States Naval Academy and is presently serving as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.
