Biography
Dana was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. She was immersed in the political, legal and civic activities impacting Floridians at a young age. Her love of Florida’s climate, beaches, diversity and family has made her a lifetime Floridian.
Dana earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2001 and her B.S. from Florida State University in 1998. She began her career at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office as an assistant public defender. In 2006, she joined the law firm of Panza, Maurer & Maynard as an associate and was promoted to partner. She currently serves as the firm’s managing partner. Her primary areas of practice include litigation, labor and employment and education law.
Dana is married to Patrick Macdonald, has two teenage children and is active in the community. She enjoys traveling, tennis, boating, spending time with her family, and culinary and wine experiences.
