Biography
A dedicated advocate for education equity, Chanelle has led national, state, and local programming and fundraising initiatives to create and expand access to educational and career opportunities for students from pre-K to higher ed. She is currently the executive director of the Florida Early Learning Corps, an early literacy intervention model that prepares hundreds of Florida preschoolers for kindergarten. Previously, Chanelle served as the director of program partnerships and communications for Breakthrough Miami. She has also served as the director of strategic partnerships for The Children’s Movement of Florida. Additionally, she is a longtime program consultant for the National Black MBA Association.
Chanelle earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Chanelle lives in Pembroke Pines with her husband, Quentin, and two-year-old daughter, Lauren.
