Capping a 40-year career, culminating in back-to-back JD Power Awards as CEO of America’s Favorite Airport, Joe will share his experience of making the decision to retire and preparing his organization for change. With less than a year before his scheduled departure, Joe is in a unique position to help leaders at all points in their careers think intentionally about major transitions in their career journey. 

Following a nearly 50-year career in PR, politics and public service, Gil now splits his time between Tallahassee and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Stepping up to co-chair Leadership Florida’s Retiree Circle, Gil will share about his own retirement journey and the new ways that Leadership Florida is reaching out to engage its alumni network to stay involved and continue serving their community through retirement.
