Leadership Florida - Northwest Region - Blue Angels Veterans Day Trip

Join your fellow Northwest Region Members this Veterans Day for a special “but for Leadership Florida” experience! Both Leadership Florida members and guests are welcome!

It's pure aviation excitement as the Blue Angels return home for the NAS Pensacola Homecoming Air Show. Experience hands-on history at the National Naval Aviation Museum located on board Pensacola Naval Air Station. See more than 4,000 artifacts and over 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aviation. Experience the thrill of flight in the Flight Simulators, catch all the drama and power of the amazing Giant Screen Digital Theater, and refresh with a tasty lunch in the authentic Cubi Bar Cafe.

We will be greeted by former Blue Angel CDR Vice LT Ben Walborn who will join us at the Museum and speak to our group! Lunch will be on your own with plenty of vendors throughout the Air Show. We will regroup on the Flight Line early in the afternoon at our reserved seats for the Blue Angels portion of the Homecoming Air Show. Logistics to and from the event are being coordinated and will be provided to those who RSVP for the event. Each participant will be charged $25.00 to hold their reservation. We will provide additional information to those who register. Please see the tentative schedule below:

Schedule:

9:30 AM (CST) - arrive at Pensacola NAS

10:00 AM - briefing

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - free time and lunch on your own (vendors will be onsite at the air show)

12:30 PM - meet in your seats for the remainder of the air show

3:30 PM - depart
