Biography
Paola Parra Harris is proud to be Cuban born and Florida raised. She emigrated from Havana at 45 days old with her mother, grandmother, and 2 aunts, and grew up fully bilingual and bicultural in Miami. She attended public schools, received her A.A. from Miami Dade Community College, her B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1992 and her J.D. from Mercer University in 1996.
In 2016, Paola founded a bilingual family law litigation firm where many of her clients are Spanish speaking only. In 2019, she was recognized as the Ultimate Attorney in Family Law by the Jacksonville Business Journal, Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts Gateway Council and Business Leader of the Year by the Mayor's Hispanic American Advisory Board.
Her family includes her husband, Robert M. Harris, two sons, Lucas (15) and Marcus (13), an energetic dachshund, Marley, and a feisty cat, Dorie. They love to travel to national parks, spring skiing, and enjoying northeast Florida's lakes and beaches.
