Biography
Norie has been with United Way for 29 years. Her career started as assistant project director for the first AmeriCorps program in South Florida, which focused on rebuilding following Hurricane Andrew. She managed teams of local and national volunteers who worked in neighborhoods providing home rebuilding and community organizing activities. After 19 years in the programs area, she joined development as vice president. She became chief development officer in 2019 and led the organization in raising $45 million. In 2022, Norie was named chief strategy officer and was responsible for overseeing strategic planning and leading external partnership development. She was recently named chief impact officer, overseeing United Way's programs and initiatives.

As a community volunteer, she has served on various boards. She is a Leadership Miami graduate, past chair of the program, founding member of Youth Leadership Miami, and current board member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Norie holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's in public administration from Florida International University. She is passionate about reading, travel, and animal rights.
