Biography
Nicole is a landscape architect, certified land planner, and partner at Cotleur & Hearing in Jupiter, Florida who leads high-level land development projects. She is a graduate of the Jupiter Environmental Research & Field Studies Academy (JERFSA) at Jupiter High School where her passion for healthy communities began.
She is the founder of Future Landscape Architects of America (FLAA), a non-profit that educates K-12 students about the career field of landscape architecture. Her work with FLAA also led her to win a $25,000 Fellowship for Innovation + Leadership award from the Landscape Architecture Foundation in 2017. She has worked with over 3,000 K-12 students and over 40 organizations to date and is passionate about building a scalable and replicable education program to share landscape architecture with future generations.
Nicole obtained a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with a minor in environmental studies from the University of Florida in 2010 and was recently named one of the “Top 40 Gators Under 40.”
