Biography
A seasoned strategist and community leader, Jordan Vaughn currently serves as the Vice President of Partnerships & Community at NationSwell. In this role, he is instrumental in driving membership growth and providing executive-level services, fostering strategic relationships, and representing the organization at key events. Jordan's leadership is characterized by his ability to develop comprehensive outreach strategies, and act as a thought partner to deepen client relationships and create impactful initiatives.
Prior to his current role, Jordan founded The Devonia Group, a business strategy agency inspired by James Baldwin's commitment to social justice. Under his leadership, the agency has developed inclusive storytelling strategies, created pipelines for diverse talent, and championed cultural transformations within organizations. Jordan has also spearheaded social justice movements, conducted organizational audits for equity and inclusion, and cultivated sustained partnerships with grassroots organizations, significantly raising brand consciousness across various sectors.
Jordan's extensive experience includes pivotal roles at Maestra, where he led groundbreaking social impact campaigns for high-profile clients like Tiffany & Co., Fendi, and Citi. His work in film and entertainment has contributed to Oscar-nominated projects such as "TIME" and "Judas and the Black Messiah." Additionally, Jordan's career highlights include strategic fundraising roles for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee, where he raised substantial funds and engaged key coalition donors. A Morehouse College graduate, Jordan continues to be deeply involved in community engagement and civic initiatives, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to equity and justice.
