Biography
Erica, a first-generation American and lifelong Floridian, is a 20-year marketing and business development professional. Joining Shumaker in 2015, she currently leads a strategic team across all nine offices of the business law and government affairs firm. Erica has reimagined the platform for marketing at Shumaker, serving on the senior administrative team to launch ten new service lines and twelve business sectors alongside the firm’s mission of striving to be positive and impactful difference makers to the clients and communities served. She also directs the firm’s plan for communications, crisis management, social media, print and digital marketing, client pursuit and development.
Erica has a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida and continues to frequent The Swamp on game days. With a passion for mental health awareness, Erica serves on the board of Gracepoint Foundation. She also serves on the University of Tampa Board of Fellows.
