Biography
Evan was born & bred in Cocoa Beach, FL & he is a graduate of Florida State University & the University of Pennsylvania. Evan's passion is social entrepreneurship.
While at FSU, in room 114 of his fraternity house, Evan and a group of his lifelong best friends founded Who We Play For (WWPF). WWPF has become one of the largest nonprofits of its kind in the world focused solely on the prevention of sudden cardiac death in the young by providing affordable preventative heart screenings. Sudden cardiac arrest is currently the leading cause of death in sports, schools & the United States; WWPF hopes to change that, and save a generation of children, by increasing the standard of care for all student athletes, and students, to include heart screenings. So far, WWPF has advanced local and national laws, screened 120,000 youth hearts, saved 120+ young lives and has become an international leader in their field.
